Green Building Consulting and Commissioning

We worked with the Yazdani Studio at Cannon Design to achieve LEED Gold certification on the new 10-story, 245-bed Jacobs Medical Center facility and on the accompanying East Campus Central Utility Plant. We provided design workshop facilitation, education and training, green building design consulting and LEED certification management. 

Ecotype provided green building design consulting and LEED certification management for this LEED Silver certified assisted living senior housing facility located within the Foster Square development in Foster City, CA. Residents live in studios, 1-bedroom apartments, and 2-bedroom suites.  On-site amenities include covered parking, ground-floor retail spaces, community rooms, fitness, classrooms, communal living spaces, and centralized dinin

The NEW Residence Hall consists of residential suites surrounding landscaped courtyards, designed to fit within the historic context of the Claremont Colleges. Ecotype provided workshop facilitations, green building design consulting, commissioning, energy modeling and analysis, and LEED certification management. The Project was delivered by CM at risk on a fast-track schedule, and was managed by Cumming Construction Management on behalf of the College.

We recently prepared a GHG emissions inventory and report for the University of La Verne in compliance with the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment. We worked directly with representatives across multiple campus departments to collect, normalize, and report data.

Ecotype provided commissioning services for an adaptive reuse of a portion of a former department store into a cinephile's and cerevisaphile's (beer lover's) paradise. We commissioned HVAC and lighting control systems.

Ecotype provided LEED administration, Los Angeles Green Building Code compliance, and commissioning for the new nine-story LEED-silver-certified Dream Hollywood boutique hotel. The rooftop club and pool (with submersible dance floor) is the highlight of this project and one of the swankiest spots in Hollywood.
